What This Service Involves

Replacing them is about more than swapping the hood, because the surrounding flashing and shingle integration are usually where water is actually getting in. We remove the failed vent, inspect the decking for any moisture damage underneath, and install a new unit woven correctly into the shingle courses. When a home has scattered mismatched vents, we can standardize them for cleaner airflow and a tidier roofline. The finished penetration is watertight and back to venting the moisture your attic needs to shed.
