We repair leaking, storm-lifted, or clogged ridge vents so your peak keeps exhausting moisture instead of letting Northwest rain in.
Ridge vents are durable, but coastal wind gusts can lift sections, nails can back out, and years of debris or moss can choke the airflow slot. When that happens the vent stops exhausting and, worse, may let wind-driven rain track under the cap and stain the ceiling below. We inspect the full ridge to find lifted sections, failed sealant, damaged baffles, and any spots where the original slot was cut wrong. Repairs range from resecuring and resealing sections to replacing crushed baffle material and clearing moss buildup common on our shaded north slopes. The goal is a watertight peak that draws freely again through the wet months.

1) Inspect the full ridge for lifting, leaks, and blocked baffles; 2) Remove damaged cap shingles and failed vent sections; 3) Reseal, refasten, or replace baffle sections as needed; 4) Reinstall matching cap shingles and test for watertight draw
