PVC membranes are chosen for Washington restaurants and buildings with grease or chemical exposure because the material resists what would degrade other roofs. Like TPO, PVC seams are heat-welded, and failures typically show up at aged welds, penetrations, or spots where plasticizers have migrated and the sheet stiffens. We weld new PVC to sound membrane using compatible material, since patching brittle PVC with the wrong product simply invites the next leak. Restoring true welded seams keeps kitchens, mechanical rooms, and interiors dry through the wet season.
