What This Service Involves

When flashing has rusted through, pulled loose, or simply outlived the roofing around it, spot repairs stop making sense and full replacement is the sound investment. This is especially true on older Northwest homes where galvanized flashing has corroded from decades of moisture and moss retention. We remove the tired metal at valleys, walls, and penetrations and install fresh, properly profiled flashing tied into the existing roof system. Replacing all the flashing at once during a reroof or a major repair prevents the frustration of a brand-new roof leaking at old, failing joints. We match metals thoughtfully to avoid galvanic corrosion where dissimilar materials meet.

1) Survey all flashing runs and grade each for corrosion, lift, and remaining life; 2) Strip out failed metal along with degraded sealant and fasteners; 3) Fabricate and install matched replacement flashing lapped to shed water; 4) Seal, fasten, and inspect every transition for watertight performance
