We upgrade edge metal, add sealant bonds at starter courses, and improve nailing patterns so tabs stay put when the pressure builds. These measures reduce the odds of a catastrophic peel-back and can lower your exposure to repeat storm claims. It is proactive protection rather than another repair after the fact.
