What This Service Involves

The soffit is the underside of your roof overhang, and in our damp climate it does double duty as the main air intake for attic ventilation. We install vented aluminum, vinyl, or wood soffit sized to move enough air to fight the condensation that plagues Northwest attics. Proper intake here works with ridge vents to keep insulation dry and moss-friendly moisture from building beneath the deck. Clean, continuous soffit lines also seal out birds, wasps, and the squirrels that love an open eave.

Our Process

1) Verify overhang framing and calculate needed net-free vent area; 2) Install furring or J-channel to receive the panels; 3) Fit vented soffit sections and secure them level; 4) Trim, seal edges, and confirm clear airflow into the attic
